A suspect reportedly tried to use a river stream to gain access to a local residential estate this weekend. “Our armed response officers were on patrol on Saturday morning (21 January) when they noticed an unidentified man moving through the water. It appeared that he was trying to gain access to the estate by climbing over the river fence,” explains Charnel Hattingh, Group Head of Communications and Marketing at Fidelity Service Group. Officers called for backup, and they successfully detained the suspect before he was handed over into police custody.
