Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and the risks associated with the virus, Reservoir Hills Secondary School recently received assistance from the Fidelity Services Group, who provided a complete sanitisation of their school.
“We have strong relationships with various schools and other community organisations throughout the Durban area and were recently approached by their team who made contact with one of our Community Development Managers for assistance,” explains Fidelity ADT’s District Manager for KwaZulu-Natal, Vaughan Pillay.
The Reservoir Hills Secondary School is a well-known institution in the community who have also suffered under the unique challenges brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic. With most schools operating again, the need to keep safe and to take the necessary sanitisation procedures seriously remains essential.
“We knew that sanitisation would be critical for them during this time, especially with the high amount of foot traffic at the school. The Fidelity Services Group offers sanitisation services through our Fidelity Cleaning Services entity and we at Fidelity ADT opted for a collaborative effort with them to assist,” said Pillay.
A thorough sanitisation of all the touch points within the school was conducted by the Fidelity Cleaning Services team who were also supported by members of the Fidelity ADT team.
Pillay added that they will continue to support community organisations through various security collaborations during the lockdown period. “Our armed response team will continue to conduct regular patrols, share information and find solutions to crime concerns faced within the area. In addition, and in line with regulations to control and prevent the spread of the coronavirus we have provided all our staff with the necessary PPE equipment to ensure the safety of both our employees and customers at all times.”
