With the festive season, fast approaching Fidelity ADT has cautioned people not to neglect their home and personal safety habits, as the festive season is normally a busy time for would-be criminals.

Today 12 October Fidelity ADT, Douglasdale SAPS, Douglasdale Community Police Forum, Neighbourhood Watch, along with other security companies embarked on a crime awareness campaign on Corner Leslie Road and William Nicol Drive in Fourways.
The purpose of the campaign was to educate the public on crimes such as Hijackings, House and Business Robberies as well as to provide safety tips at shopping malls.

Danny Maringa Community Development Manager for Fidelity ADT says “We assisted in handing out of pamphlets with valuable information providing the community with safety and crime prevention tips. We strongly support initiatives such as these. United communities are harder to infiltrate, and I encourage everyone to support their neighbourhood security schemes, SAPS and communication groups. By working together, we can send a strong message that crime will not be tolerated in our communities.”
